Females Retiring from Breeding that are For Sale
Everyone wants a young, fully trained dog with great hips and
good health. They are available if you want to spend several thousand dollars. However, if
you consider a middle age (average age 6 years) girl in the Prime of her
life that will be a wonderful companion, and can be
expected to have many years more of good health, and will give love and
protection, then DO consider a retiring female from Grunenfeld at the very
reasonable price of $600 (more if already spayed). If not already spayed,
the female will have to be spayed at your cost and may not
be used for breeding. Shipping fees, if needed are additional. I will be retiring
some females in 2008. Please note, I
will not place an adult female into a home that already has a female adult dog

Hi Jackie,
Just wanted to let you know that Zvezeda is doing wonderful.
We both adore her!!! Anybody that worries about
"bonding" with an older dog is crazy. Steve had "fallen
hard" in a major way for her in just the first week. They are
almost inseparable. At first he was considering a puppy but now
that we have Zvezeda he can't believe how easy and wonderful it is to
have such a beautifully behaved adult. She is still so frisky,
too. We are taking your advice and not playing much with her the first
couple of weeks but she seems to really want to. We took her to
the beach one morning last weekend. She was so intrigued by the
big fat seagulls just standing there in front of her on the sand.
She got very frisky and bit at a couple small waves and tossed bits of
kelp up into the air. She is so much fun and relaxed in such a
short period of time. Thank you Jackie for such a WONDERFUL
and BEAUTIFUL companion dog.
